Zubax Steel target plate for magnetic grippers
Zubax Steel target plate for magnetic grippers is designed to ensure solid attachment of the payload to the FluxGrip FG40 EPM. The plate forms a “perfect target” surface when positioned directly against the working surface of the magnet.
The force that is required to pull the payload away from the magnetic assembly — the holding force — depends not only on the performance of the magnet itself, but also on the qualities of the payload. Ferromagnetic materials with high permeability (mu_r > 4000) and high saturation polarization (J_sat > 2), such as iron, low-carbon steels, or specialized magnetic alloys like permendur, are recommended.
This steel target plate is manufactured from a high-saturation, high-permeability steel alloy to maximize the holding force.
